BGC Thompson offers FREE diverse programming specifically designed for children and youth. Club members are given the opportunity to belong to a supportive peer group and are challenged to think as individuals.
The BGC Thompson offers programs and services to children, youth and families within the community of Thompson and surrounding areas free of charge. Currently, the BGC Thompson holds a total registration count of approximately 60 children and youth, with a staffing compliment of 20. Funding of staffing, programs and services is secured primarily through Provincial, Federal and Private sources, with the remaining secured through generous donations, corporate pledges and fundraising.
BGC Thompson is open Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 7:30pm.

After School
We provide recreational after school programming for children ages 5 – 12 in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Late-Night
The Late-Night Program is a youth drop-in centre for youth within the ages of 12 – 17 years. This program provides them with a safe, inclusive place to make new friends, have some fun, and feel supported.
Youth Build
The Youth Build Program provides a positive learning environment with an intake of 26 youth, between the ages of 18-29, who are unemployed, underemployed, not attending school. This program runs for 48 weeks with the same group of individuals throughout the year.
Roots to Rise
Roots to Rise is where youth build confidence, catch up, level up, and plan what’s next—through tutoring, mentorship, and Indigenous cultural connection.
